Nature of Service
CommoditiHub provides intake processing, classification, and structured matching services for commercial commodity requirements. CommoditiHub does not act as a broker, agent, or principal in any transaction. No submission constitutes an offer, contract, or binding obligation. CommoditiHub does not guarantee the availability of supply, the completion of any transaction, or the introduction to any counterparty. Users acknowledge that any classification, screening, or review output is provided for intake structuring purposes only and shall not be relied upon as legal, commercial, or regulatory advice.
Submissions
All submissions are subject to desk review and compliance screening. CommoditiHub reserves the right to reject, return, or request clarification on any submission without obligation to provide reasons. Submission of a requirement does not guarantee placement, prioritization, or response. Classification processes may include automated tools. Final intake determinations are subject to human review. You represent and warrant that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and not misleading.
Eligibility
The platform is intended for use by export-ready producers, licensed trade houses, and entities with demonstrable commercial capacity. CommoditiHub reserves the right to verify credentials and decline participation at its sole discretion. By using the platform, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of the submitting entity. The platform is not intended for individual consumers or personal transactions.
Data and Retention
Submission data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy. CommoditiHub may retain anonymized or aggregated data for operational and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting desk@commoditihub.ai.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommoditiHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, reliance on classification outputs, or any introduction or transaction facilitated through the platform. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to CommoditiHub in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any. In no event shall CommoditiHub be liable for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or reputational harm arising from use of the platform or reliance on its outputs.
Indemnification

Overview
CommoditiHub is committed to protecting the privacy of users who interact with our platform. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Legal Basis
By submitting information through the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in this policy. Where consent is not the applicable basis, processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate business interests, contractual necessity, or legal obligation under applicable Canadian privacy legislation including PIPEDA.
Data We Collect
When you submit a commodity requirement or apply for verification, we collect: your name, email address, company name, phone number, commodity specifications, volume requirements, and buyer specifications. We also collect technical data including session identifiers, timestamps, and interaction metadata for platform security and analytics.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to: process and classify commodity submissions, conduct compliance and eligibility screening, facilitate introductions between qualified parties. CommoditiHub does not act as a broker, agent, or intermediary in any resulting transactions and bears no responsibility for agreements or outcomes between parties, improve platform accuracy and governance, and monitor platform security and abuse prevention. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
AI Processing
Commodity classifications are processed using AI language models provided by Anthropic (Claude API). Only commodity specification text and category information is sent to the AI service for classification. No personal contact information is transmitted to AI providers. AI providers do not use submitted data to train or improve public-facing models. Processing is governed by enterprise data processing agreements.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized interaction data for understanding platform usage patterns. This includes event-level data such as form interactions and submission outcomes. We configure analytics tools to minimize the collection of personally identifiable information. Event-level data is anonymized and contains no names, emails, or contact details.
Data Sharing
We may share your submission data with: verified supply-side participants for the purpose of fulfilling your requirement, professional advisors and compliance consultants as required, and law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law. We do not share your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Submission data is retained for the duration of active processing and for up to 24 months thereafter for compliance, audit, and dispute resolution purposes, unless otherwise required by law. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing desk@commoditihub.ai. Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for operational purposes.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent for processing, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact desk@commoditihub.ai.
